More About Coach Kimberly
I have coached from club teams, summer camps, JV high school, to University DII volleyball. I have a bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation with a minor in Athletic Training. I am also a personal trainer with an emphasis on athletic performance. I can work with any level, helping perfect your natural talent and improving your overall performance.
I only started playing my 11th grade high school receiving most improved player. Going to JC Cerritos College where I received most improved player again. Then receiving a full ride scholarship to the university of Alaska Anchorage DII being one of the top blockers in NCAA.
Depending on the position you are is how we would train. I am a personal trainer so working on strength, agility, vertical is an important factor in injury prevention and overall fitness. Also focusing on specific training needs (hitting, blocking, passing, setting) whatever is needed the most to enhance performance.
