I am an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, with several years of experience in various settings from collegiate athletics and larger conditioning facilities to private studios. I graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Exercise Science, and a minor in Spanish. One of my passions is the integration of the mind and body, and I work with my clients on holistic programs designed to identify and eliminate obstacles, and speed them toward their individual goals. In addition to my work as a coach and personal trainer, I compete at an elite level in road cycling, an aspect which increases my experiential knowledge when working with athletes of various levels.
I strongly believe that exercise can be a essential ‘prescription’ for many of life’s physical and psychological burdens, and have seen firsthand the life-changing and life-saving power of exercise in depression, addiction, anxiety, and learning disabilities, to name only a few. I absolutely love working as a trainer, and take such joy in seeing my clients achieve their goals and change their lives. Whether those goals are those of an elite athlete working to shave several seconds from a PR, stay-at-home mom trying to lose weight or improve health, or an older individual wanting to have more energy to play with his grandchildren I can work with you and design an individualized program including nutrition guidance and meal planning that will give you the results you’ve been waiting to see.
