More About Coach Kenny
Coach Kenny has trained trained children from ages 5-18 in basketball . He has been assistant coach at his my Alma Mater Richmond Hill High School in Queens, NY for nearly a decade and has helped high school student-athletes take their game to the next level.
Coach Kenny also runs a youth basketball skill development and enhancement clinic in queens for children ages 5-13.

Coach played Played varsity basketball for Richmond Hill High School for four years. In this time, he scored over 1000 points in his division. He also in his senior year of high-school his point totals ranked 6th in the entire Public School Athletic League (PSAL) . Coach Kenny also lead his division in both points and assists and was voted his team’s MVP . His success was a major contributor to the teams first undefeated record in their history of the division. in 2003, Coach Kenny was recognized as a honorable mention player for the All Queens Select Team. He went on to play collegiate basketball at Hunter College and started at the guard position in his Freshman year.
Coach Kenny begins with a pre assessment which will be recorded, of the player performing the basic basketball fundamentals .This will help the coach and the player objectively monitor and track their progress. Coach Kenny uses a client centered model and will customize a basketball workout regimen based on the client’s skill level and their personal basketball goals. This will include but is not limited to ballhandling , foot work, defense, agility drills, conditioning , shooting, drills simulating in game situations, hand eye coordination workouts and drills that emphasis communication and teamwork . Game plans are structured and modified based on client feedback, individual self assessment and athletic performance and goals . Coach Kenny records and reviews all sessions to highlight player strengths, and identify areas that both the coach and player should improve on. Reviewing practice is vital as there is always room for improvement no matter the skill level.
