More About Coach Kendall

With over a decade of coaching and private training experience, I’ve worked with athletes across all levels—from youth development to the professional stage. My background includes serving as the Elite Tier Goalkeeper Coach with Walnut Creek Surf Soccer Club, coaching with SA Beast Soccer Club in San Antonio and De Anza Force Soccer Club, and providing specialized private goalkeeper training for more than 10 years. I’ve had the privilege of training numerous current and former professional goalkeepers, with a focus on technical refinement, positional awareness, and mental resilience to help athletes elevate their performance.

Athletic Accomplishments – Kendall McIntosh

I have played in over 150 professional matches across MLS and USL, with a career spanning the Portland Timbers, New York Red Bulls, Sporting Kansas City, and San Antonio FC. In the USL, I also competed with Portland Timbers 2 and Sporting Kansas City II, and I am currently playing with the Oakland Roots SC. Beyond on-field achievements, I was honored as the New York Red Bulls Humanitarian of the Year (2020) and an MLS Works Humanitarian of the Year nominee.

Internationally, I represented the United States at the U-17 and U-20 National Team levels, competing in two FIFA Youth World Cups, and was later named to the prestigious U.S. Olympic Player Pool.

At the collegiate level, I played in the Bay Area at Santa Clara University (2012–2015) and was a three-year team captain. I led the Broncos to the 2015 WCC Championship, was named 2015 WCC Co-Goalkeeper of the Year, and earned Second Team All-WCC honors in both 2014 and 2015, along with WCC Honorable Mention in 2013. In addition, I earned recognition on the WCC All-Academic Team (2014, 2015), was selected to the 2015 NSCAA Scholar All-West Region, and was honored as the Santa Clara University Athlete of the Year in 2015. I ended my career at Santa Clara 3rd all-time in saves.

My career began in Northern California, where I developed through the Montclair Soccer Club, Mustang Soccer Club, and the San Jose Earthquakes Academy. For my impact as a youth player, I was inducted into the Santa Rosa United Hall of Fame.
