As a former D1 player at the midfield, I have an abundance of experience on both offense and defense. Depending on the player's position/interests, these training sessions will be customized:

Duration: 1 hour
Warm-up (10 minutes):**
- Dynamic stretches and light jogging to increase blood flow and flexibility.
- Quick stickhandling drills to get players comfortable with their sticks.

**Skill Development (20 minutes): Shooting Technique**
1. **Fundamental Shooting Mechanics (5 minutes):**
- Review proper grip and hand placement on the stick.
- Emphasize correct body positioning and stance.

2. **Stationary Shooting (10 minutes):**
- Have the player practice shooting from a stationary position.
- Focus on a strong follow-through, transferring weight, and generating power from the hips.

3. **Shooting on the Move (5 minutes):**
- Incorporate footwork by having the player shoot while moving laterally.
- Encourage maintaining balance and accuracy while in motion.

**Drills (20 minutes): Shooting Accuracy and Decision-Making**
1. **Target Practice (10 minutes):**
- Set up targets in different corners of the net.
- Have the player aim for specific targets while shooting from various distances.
- Rotate targets to challenge different angles.

2. **Defensive Pressure Drill (10 minutes):**
- Introduce a defender to apply pressure during shooting.
- Help the player practice shooting under defensive pressure, improving accuracy even when contested.
3. Defenders: 1v1 defensive skill
- Foot work, stick and body positioning

**Game Situations (10 minutes): Implementing Skills in a Game Context**
1. **1v1 Shooting Game (5 minutes):**
- Create a mini-game where the player takes on a defender and attempts to score.
- Focus on using learned techniques while reading the defender's movements.

2. **Small-Sided Scrimmage (5 minutes):**
- Join the player for a small scrimmage (2v2 or 3v3) to practice shooting in a realistic game situation.
- Encourage using the newly developed skills and decision-making abilities.

**Cool-down (5 minutes):**
- Light stretching to prevent muscle soreness and improve flexibility.
- Recap the session, highlighting improvements and areas for continued practice.

**Homework (5 minutes):**
- Assign specific drills to practice before the next session, focusing on identified areas of improvement.
- Encourage the player to maintain a practice journal to track progress.

Throughout the session, provide constant feedback, positive reinforcement, and corrections as needed. The goal is to help the player build confidence in their offensive/defensive technique and decision-making abilities, while also enjoying the learning process. Adapt the session plan based on the player's skill level and progress.
