More About Coach Kadeem
My experience as a former professional basketball athlete, has allowed me to translate that skillset into teaching the game to the youth. I have coached and trained young athletes of all ages, including grade school athletes all the way up to higher education athletes. I have coached at my former high school, McEachern High in Georgia, and currently coach at St. Francis Highschool in Wisconsin. I have trained players for over 5 years in states such as Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia and Wisconsin. I work with all ages, but specialize in developing grade school students including elementary, middle school and high school.
My athletic accomplishments include winning individual and team awards at the high school and collegiate level for basketball. In high school, at McEachern High in Georgia, I was chosen to our all-conference first team and helped my team win a region championship. I then attended Providence College, a high major D-1 program, winning the Big East Most-Improved Player Award, all-conference second team and helping my team win a Big East Conference Championship at Madison Square Garden in 2014. After I graduated I signed a contract with the Orlando Magic of the NBA. After spending a season with Orlando I went on to play 4 more years professional overseas, in countries such as Turkey and Poland.
Clients can expect fun and challenging sessions that include skill development in all facets of the game. As a player, I improved once I started to work with trainers that had experience in playing the game at a high level. That experience became apart of my individual game, and has carried over into my own training sessions with the youth. I focus on the fundamentals and details of the game, including footwork, angles and ball placement. I specifically develop ball handling, shooting, passing, balance and overall efficient movement on the floor. I believe in taking advantage of every move a player makes on the floor. I have workouts tailored towards a 60-90 minute session, that progresses a players game over time.

Stephanie (CoachUp client)
After one session I feel like I've gotten more training then I have over my whole basketball season, I feel like I can improve majorly while I'm training with him. He uses training methods that make you work hard but also don't make you feel a lot of pressure.
