I have played baseball at the collegiate level for the last four years. I have worked and help run a number of youth baseball camps which had players with ages ranging from 7-14 years old. I also help volunteer coach at a High school program for 3 months.

In high school I was an all-county baseball player among other honors. I played four years of college baseball in Oregon in the Northwest Conference where I started the majority of games. I played both outfield and infield and can help coach players at both positions as well as hitting.

Before any coaching I would make sure the client is well stretched and prepared to go. A hitting lesson would begin with tee work and fundamental drills to help break down the players swing to fix holes or problems. This would be followed with front toss and then more live rounds. I have a variety of fundamental drills to ensure new and exciting lessons.
Defensive training would also begin with fundamental drills to help the player build a strong defensive position from the ground up and to help the client gain confidence. This would be followed with footwork drills and would finish up with live ground ball reads.
Baseball is a mental sport as well so each lesson would also include talking about the game of baseball and how to be a smart and savvy player.
