More About Coach Justin
I spent 10 years coaching and training youth, earning my D License along the way. I coached both youth teams and served as an assistant coach for SkyView High School for 2 years. I also earned my State Referee License level 6 before the system changed and officiated at the high school and college levels for 14 years.
I competed at the collegiate level at Utah State College, earned state-level awards in high school, and developed a deep understanding of high‑performance training. I’ve been involved in ODP, club, and academy-level soccer coaching, hold a National D license, and am also a state-level referee.
I focus on a lot of touches, especially in small areas—developing good touch early on creates a more well-rounded player, and the rest will follow. I also like to mix things up, so players don’t see the same drill repeatedly. Every drill includes a variation and a progression to keep things fresh and engaging.
