I am in my second year of coaching high school baseball at Yukon High School. I have also coached a 14U travel baseball team. I enjoy working with little league kids on pitching, hitting, or outfield work.

Played 4 competitive years in college at the Junior College and NAIA levels. I played for William Woods University out of Fulton, Missouri.

In a typical hitting session, I would start them off getting them warm (jumprope or dot drills). Once completed I would have them take net swings, knee on the ground swings, behind the back swings, and finally fungo toss to themselves. After that we would move into long tee where we work on hitting nothing but line drives to the back of the net. During long tee I would correct form and mechanics. Next we would move onto a certain drill for that session whether it be a quadrants drill or flamingo drill just something new to teach thema and tell them what it helps with the swing. After all of that we would take what we worked on and move to front toss where we would end the session.
