Consistency and longevity are critical aspects to playing baseball at a high level. While each student will develop skills at their own pace, my priority is to instill a foundation that keeps them healthy and allows them to maximize their ability.

This is a general outline that I have followed to achieve this in each student:

Before we begin, we will have a short 5-10 minute session of light agility and stretching to promote looseness in the muscles and tendons in order to prevent injury.

Following this we will go through a short, professional- based throwing program, building up to pitching at full speed. This is usually 10 minutes depending on the student.

Once we get on the mound, I use videotaping as a tool to point out any mechanical flaws that are affecting control/velocity. The goal is to develop simple, explosive, and repeatable mechanics and not over-complicate the motion. Videotaping is a great way to give the student visual feedback of his own mechanics.

If the delivery is sound, we will get into pitch grips, such as a change-up, curveball, and slider.

Pitching strategy, pitch sequence, and the mental game will be touched on, especially for the advanced high school/college pitcher.

We will finish each session with an professional arm conditioning program that I used during my time in the Blue Jays Organization.

Working with Justin was well worth the time and money spent! He ran a very well-conceived training session that was technically informative and I am sure will shape my son's future development as a pitcher and an infielder. The video feedback that he provides as part of the training is very beneficial in making adjustments. I highly recommend Justin's services for any level pitcher.

Great job with Simon !
