More About Coach Julius

I have trained a few athletes from high school up to the professional level. I am an active professional basketball player so coaching is a part time passion for me at this stage. Though i have never worked for any company, I have helped out a few basketball organizations. I am an independent skills coach and i have done most of my coaching overseas, Philippines to be exact.

I played on every level—elementary, high school, collegiate and professional level. I am an active professional basketball player. I played in three countries: Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
A few clips of my professional stint in Thailand https://youtu.be/Z0OQjd4tewo

What I do always depends on the skill level and basketball understanding of the athlete. Overall, my aim is to utilize the innate talent that the player already has and enhance their skill and basketball IQ so everything they learn carries over to an actual game. I always approach training holistically because the game of basketball is not only physical but mental as well. The mentality is much more important than the physical aspect because to move the body, mind has to command the body first before it moves! An unstable mind is an unstable game!
