More About Coach Julian

I have coached and trained players of all ages (8-16); little league, travel ball, high school. Private professional hitting, pitching, and defense lessons. I am a head coach/founder of the Tsunamis travel ball team! Always looking for players of all ages! Leave my name in the comment section if interested in the website, or contact me directly!

The Tsunami Baseball Academy!

Lessons can be run at The Foundry hitting facility in Redwood City!

I played in the Milwaukee Brewers organization as a professional shortstop/hitter.
Went to Menlo college for my senior year, hit 22 HRs becoming an all American.
My jr year I was at BIOLA University leaded my conference in HRs with 14
Right out of high school attended Glendale Community College for 2 Years winning a Gold Glove at firstbase and making all conference honors both years.

after introductions, I would like to get a sense of what the player thinks their strengths and weakness are as a player. Find out what they believe they are good at (this brings self encouragement). If a hitting lesson, get the player stretched out quickly, then proceed to drills where I can observe the mechanics of the players swing (I like using video to have a player see his improvements). Then proceed with different drills. Same applies with pitching and defense it all begins with footwork and mechanics. Then at the end I would give the players a recap of what was addresses. Give them a weekly goal and send them whatever video we used.
