Julian Holland

I've been coaching for the past 2 years. I started working with Train Like a Pro which is a soccer coaching program based out of Westchester County. From here I proceeded to start working with JC Futbol as a private soccer coach. In my year there I have worked with over 50+ players and run 20+ sessions per week. I work and have worked with players of all ages, levels, and positions. I have had all 5 star reviews! I have a passion for helping players develop their game and reach the best level possible for them.

I was born in the US but grew up playing in Japan playing under top division academy team for 6 years. I proceed my high school career in a nationally ranked school. In 2019 my junior year we won the Japan National High School Tournament playing/starting all games. I then made the move to the U.S. to play for Juco powerhouse, Iowa Western CC. There I won the 2021-22 National Championship. From there, I transferred to Mercy University (D2). In my first season I was named United Soccer Coaches First Team All Region, ECC Defensive Player of the year, and Defensive player of the week twice. In my second season, I was named United Soccer Coaches First team All Region, ECC Defensive Player of the year two years in a row. I tallied 3 goals and 3 assists whilst playing for 1500 minutes. I was also named captain of the team in my first year.

A client can expect a session tailored to the needs of themselves or their kids. I like to make every session different. Every player is different and has very different needs. My goal is for the player to get the most they can out of the session. One important thing for me is that the player has fun and enjoys the session as well. Without fun there is no point in playing the sport. Once a player has fun they will then develop better and have a better attitude towards training. I like to make my players work hard. I conduct very technically driven sessions. I want my players to get as many touches as they can on the ball and get as sharp as they can. I also make my sessions very position specific to meet the needs and demands of the player!
