More About Coach Jonathan
I have played tennis for over 20 years. I have coached juniors, high school players and adults which have shown great improvements and won tournaments/awards. I enjoy going to watch my student's matches. It is important to give support to my students and take note of what needs to be worked on. I played at Jacksonville State University and have been on many USTA Teams. I am 5.0 NTRP Ranked and can coach beginning to advanced players.
I can offer you top-notch tennis instruction for you. I specialize in teaching ground strokes and serves.
I am a coach first, but I am also an avid tennis player. I am currently ranked 20th in the state of Georgia and climbing. I played in the U.S. Open Qualifier and made it to the second round in 2013.
I usually get the athlete warmed up and stretched and then do what I can to get an accurate reading on the athlete's skill level. I go through all of the basic shots and observe their form and when I am done with the test I go back and work on things that needed improvement. If the athlete needs hitting or consistency work I will not hesitate to rally and drill with them.
