More About Coach Jonatan
I played Soccer at Central High School all my four years two years in Junior Varsity and the last two years on the Varsity team, where I helped my team make it into regionals. After I graduated from Central I was recruited by South Mountain Community College Assistant Coach. At SMCC I played two years as a starter and helped my team make it into the playoff for the first time in school history on my first year and host a playoff game as well. The following year we made it into the playoffs making our way into semi-finals. After I graduated from SMCC I decided it was time to transfer and experience a new level of soccer so I transfer to Lindenwood University on Belleville, IL where I helped my team to an undefeated season and to be ranked as #1 in the nation. We made it to Nationals where we lost on semi-finals. After that I decided to transfer to Grand Canyon looking for an opportunity to play for Coach Draksin but since I only had one year of eligibility it did not work out. I still continued with my education an pursued a Bachelor's Degree on Sports Management.
I have no experience coaching but I am looking forward to coaching and to teach players to respect and love the game as much as I do.
During the years I have watched many soccer games, have been through many training sessions and have read a lot about the sport. My session will vary and every practice session will be the best letting the players know that practice makes you better player. Repetition makes you better and that fitness makes you a better player. I believe I am prepare to share all my knowledge and let players know that if they want to achieve something as a high school, college or professional level, all they have to do is practice and practice, it is possible and at the end it will pay off.
-At south mountain community college help team to host first play off game in two years in a row.
-Also help my team at Lindenwood University to be ranked #1 in the nation
-At Lindenwood University help my team making it to nationals, where we lost in semi-finals
Practice will start with a warm up. To get the blood circulating through the muscles. Getting our body ready for the work out that it will be submit to. After the warm up and stretch then I will then proceed to talk to the athlete about what the practice is going to be about and motivate him/her to give 100% at every work out. After that we will start with the practice session. Working on the athletes weaknesses and improving those strong qualities and agility on the athlete. After practice session is done then we will proceed to the cool down and after that we will chat about practice, how he feels and what is to come.

We started with 8 lessons and my son Kyle has improved over each one. The parents on our soccer team have all made comments about how much Kyle has improved, all thanks to Coach Jonatan. We will book more sessions as we are totally satisfied with the skills he has learned and improved on. Highly recommend Coach Jonatan. Thanks Coach

My 14 year old has been training with Jonatan for the last 5 months and has made significant improvements with his ball control, dribbling, shooting and communication skills thanks to Jonatan's training. I appreciate how Jonatan recognizes a job well done but also calls out mistakes where improvement is needed. Looking forward to many more sessions with Jonatan.

Xavier Flores, Central High School(Varsity Boys Soccer Coach) (Testimonial)
I have known Jonatan during the boy's soccer season as a volunteer assistant coach for Central High School. During this time he showed great coaching potential and worked well with the athletes. He showed initiative and competence in his knowledge and explications of soccer tactics and skills. He was prompt and attended all practices and matches. He is a role model for young athletes. He has the desire to bring out the best of an individual.
Justin Bogus, M.Ed. (Recruitment & Adjunct Faculty, Head Men's Soccer Coach) (Testimonial)
I have known Jonatan for six months in the capacity of a Men's Assistant Soccer Coach at South Mountain Community College under my direct supervision. Jonatan's strongest attribute is being a positive role model to his student-athletes during practice. Jonatan is a committed coach, and i have observed firsthand the growth of student-athletes under his leadership and supervision. Punctuality, discipline and a sense of respect are several of the high expectations he sets for himself, and leads by example on his student athletes. These strenghts have allowed Jonatan to consistently grow participation in the athletic environment he instructs.
