Current Professional Baseball Hitting Coach with 10+ years coaching and managerial experience in Professional Baseball and DI Women's College Softball. Private hitting coach for hundreds of professional baseball players and college softball players. Professional baseball experience includes the Washington Nationals, Philadelphia Phillies, Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, Sussex County Miners, Pittsburg Diamonds, Raton Osos, Washington Wild Things. Collegiate softball experience includes three years at Towson University.

Athletic highlights include being nonathletic! Not a very good baseball player who made a career in pro ball through hard work and the pursuit of knowledge!

Each athlete is unique, no two athletes move and think exactly the same. Each session will be designed to fit the specific needs of the specific player on that specific day. The plan is to give the athlete what they need and have them leave feeling better mentally, moving better mechanically, and learning how to have an absolute blast playing this game!

One of the best in the business!

Coach (John) Wags is an outstanding coach. My 15 year old son has had 7 lessons with him and we plan to do more. He has a great disposition and positive attitude that made my son feel comfortable right from the get go. His knowledge is extensive and he has a unique ability to explain and teach complex techniques and make it understandable and fun. He teaches batting techniques and also confidence and startegy which I think is just as valuable as swinging the bat.

We have also seen Coach Wags working with Minor League ball players which was impressive. Coach was also very good about working with us on a limited schedule.

The bottom line- my son improved significantly and he has more confidence and ambition to hit now.

Coach John was an awesome trainer and really connected with my 10 yr old nephew. He was able to explain complex drills in a simple way, so a kid could understand.
