For 10 years I have coached small groups and 1 on 1 soccer training sessions alongside my collegiate/professional playing career. I have worked with players ranging from 8-16 years old at all different levels. I just recently acquired my US Soccer level C coaching license and hope to go for my B license next year.

I began playing soccer at 8 years old at Newcastle United FC academy. I was fortunate enough to play for the academy up until 16 years old before joining Sheffield Wednesday FC. At SWFC I signed a 3 year contract with the professional team. After that I spend 4 years at D1 school High Point University in NC. Upon graduating I have played in the US professionally for 5 years.

When coaching 1 on 1 or in a group setting I try to make the session as fun and enjoyable as possible while working on the fundamentals of the game (passing, shooting, dribbling, first touch, etc). I normally start with a short, sharp reaction/agility warm up and some technical ball work. After that I will have activities planned that work on the fundamentals listed. Then to finish I will always end with a game/shooting exercise.
