More About Coach John
I have spent time over the last decade of my playing career training with individuals and sharing information that has helped me climb through the ranks of professional baseball.
I was a 2008 5th round draft pick by the Kansas City Royals out of Laguna Hills High School. I spent a majority of my career down on the farm, navigating through injury. I debuted at dodger stadium with the Cincinnati Reds in 2015. I also got the opportunity I never dared to pencil in of living out my dream of pitching in Anaheim as a Angel. I have been given different awards and accolades, all of which, secondary to the experiences themselves. I’m an open book.
I am offering a variety of different types of training tactics. All of which, tailored to the player. I am not a looking to be considered as a “preacher,” I am a hoping to be considered as a “teacher.” I believe in order to excel as a baseball player, we need to be in "baseball shape." That to me, is an underrated term. If/when working with me, you can expect to get advice and direction on what “ingredients” it is that I believe go into the Crock-Pot of "success." Workouts, drills, and mechanical breakdowns, all of which are offered in “this experience.” As this experience is less about me and more about “you,” I am not here to “cookie cut things” as if everyone has the exact same needs, although baseball is a game centered around catching, throwing, hitting, and running. In order to excel in baseball, we have to understand those facets and find ways to get better at them. This offer/service is tailored to “you,” we can get only get one day better at a time, if your ready to take the next step, give me a holler.
