More About Coach Joey
I have all different types of coaching and training athletes. I have coached at the highest levels of travel baseball in the northeast. I work at batting 1000 in Freeport ny. I work with kids of all ages.
2011 St Mary’s high school athlete of the year. 2010 Empire State game gold medalist as captain for team Long Island. Li Titans 2010 MVP. 4 year varsity stater in high school. Division one scholarship to university at Albany. 2012 America East rookie team. Started all years in college. 2016 university at Albany team captain.
Hitting lesson-For a 30 minute session I do ten minutes of drills and tee work. For the last 20 we work on hitting balls that move. Front toss, side toss, batting practice etc.
Fielding- lots of footwork and hands drills then we will move onto game like fungos.
Pitching-Stretching, band work, long toss, then pitching off mound or on flat ground.
