Joe Dutra

I started first 7 years coaching with Pawtucket Youth Soccer. I was Select Director for two of those years, and co-founder of the Pawtucket Storm Elite Teams; I have been on the Barrington Youth Soccer Staff for 6 years, and won over 100 matches. I was honored in 2010 to be selected by Soccer Rhode Island as “Coach of the Year”.

I was involved with the Boys Middle School Program at Wheeler Academy and head coach for the boy’s soccer team at St Raphael's High School Academy for 5 years. During that time, the program had 2 playoff appearances, and won their first Division Title ever in school history. In 2009 the Division 3 interscholastic high school awarded me “Coach of the Year”. I was also at Roger Williams University for one year before I decided to coach the High School level.

I have been coaching premier level for 7 years. Started coaching at Nor’easter Stingers Academy and coached the Youth Academy; I was Boys Director for 1 year and coached the Under 14 Boys for 2 years, with a record of 16-3-2 in MAPLE. For the remaining of the 4 years at Black Watch Premier I lead the U-13 boys to the Super Y National Tournament in my 1st year. I was on the Olympic Development Program for 7 years as Staff Coach and 1 year as the Assistant Boys Director, I was also involved with New England Revolution Regional Development School before deciding going on my own and starting up Elite Soccer Performance Academy.

I played in LASA for 6 years in Clubs like Lusitania & Academica & won three league titles. I hold a USSF D license and am Youth Soccer certified & among others a member of NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America).

With this training, the player will be given individual instructions throughout the hour to improve his or her overall game. In this hour, the player will be in for intense, high repetition training. Unlike large group training, we focus in on the individual player alone and their personal needs. You will see an improvement in the player’s foot skills, tactical knowledge, and the ability to be comfortable with the ball at their feet. Players will leave with multiple exercises that they may practice at home to further their growth.
