More About Coach Jimmy

I have played, lived, visited, and coached In Australia, Spain, Portugal, Guatemala, Gibraltar and United States. I have trained many athletes from all age groups and all levels. Currently coaching 0'6-0'7 girls and an 0'8 boys. As of now I have my D license.

Upon High school i trained and played with the Cosmos Academy team. Once i graduated i went to go play for Herkimer CCC where I won 2 national championships and earned All-American. I then transferred, with a full scholarship to Division 1 St. Bonaventure University. After Graduating I went on trials and offered a contract to Antigua FC , I ended up Moving to Australia to play for Coniston FC. I then moved to Spain to play for Benidrom C.D where then i eventually moved back to the states and moved to philadelphia to play for professional team Philadelphia Fury. After leaving Philadelphia fury I then went to Portugal to train for 5 weeks.

One of the great benefits from traveling, is i got to see a lot of different coaches coach all kind of players at all levels. My main goal is always to improve the athlete and have them apply the same determination and dedication they show on the field, to be shown off the field. I always start my session with a nice dynamic warm up followed by some foot work or ball mastery depending on the session planned. My main focus revolves around what the athlete is looking to better in his or her game as well as things that I see that could be worked on after assessing the athlete, such as; turning, shooting, first touch, off ball movement, coordination, etc.

Jimmy worked so well with my 10 year old daughter. He was prompt, attentive and in tune with what my daughter needed to develop further as a player.

Coach Jimmy has been amazing! We feel truly lucky that we found him on Coach Up. A few months back, I was looking for someone to teach my twin boys some basic skills. They play soccer with a team, but I find that they rarely teach the kids the skills they need to be successful. Coach Jimmy has them running around, practicing drills and teaching them how to play smart. The boys love their sessions and always look forward to them. Coach Jimmy has been so good about being flexible and communicative. It's truly been a pleasure working with him and we hope to continue working with him for a long time!

Coach Jimmy is great with my son. He listens to me and my son on what we think he should work on and then Jimmy takes the lead. My son enjoys going even if it ends up being a hard sessions he is still happy he went and feels challenged. He is definitely improving and happy while he's doing it. Coach Jimmy is an excellent coach. He was wonderful with our group of beginner boys, and they all had a great time. Coach Jimmy used a great approach to teaching them the fundamentals and introducing them to skills. It was clear that he is very talented.

Coach Jimmy was the perfect choice for my two kids aged 6 and 9. They worked hard and enjoyed the session very much. They were introduced to small touches as well as basic dribbling. They loved the speed ladder and the hurdles, and it was a pleasure to see them burning energy and improve their agility after this long period of lock-down. Jimmy was good in keeping their level of attention and their motivation at high level. Very happy kids. Thanks.
