More About Coach Jesse
I have been training athletes since 2019. Training athletes consisted of weight training that was catered to their sport. I have also been coaching Boys High School Soccer since 2021. The school where I coach is Northview High School. I am also a Substitute Teacher and it has allowed me to connect with students/athletes and mentor them. As well as helping them out to improve their athletic performance, soccer abilities, and the preparation for life after high school.
- I can coach all positions (GK, CB, LB,RB, CM, CDM, CAM W, ST).
I have also worked with local clubs around the Covina, Azusa, Glendora, Baldwin Park, and San Dimas area.
Industry Certifications: CPR & First Aid Certification, Concussion Training- NFHS, NFHS Coaching Certifications.

A client can expect quality training catered to their needs. I run structured, goal-oriented sessions focused on technique, decision-making, and game-speed/positional scenario. *Session is due to change depending on the client's needs. - How I would run a session:
Brief check-in: goals for the session, any aches, or recent games. I use this to tailor the session, unless advised earlier (3-5 minutes).
Dynamic warm-up - Movement prep: jogging, dynamic stretches, change of direction (COD) short technical touches while moving to wake up coordination as well as Speed, Agility, & Quickness (SAQ) to work on athletic ability (8-12 minutes). I can also include cognitive drills to improve decision-making & reaction times (5-10 minutes). [*These can be worked together].
Ball mastery & technical warm-up: Have confidence on the ball, improve 1st-touch, and ball control (10-15 minutes).
Position-specific skills: Drills are tailored to the technical needs of the position(s). They also mimic scenarios that players face in matches (10-15 minutes).
Crossing/ Finishing: Focus on technique and repeat into a game-like scenario. Using different types of crosses. Finishing 1 or 2-touch, curling the ball etc (10-15 minutes).
Feedback: Quick recap: what improved, what to practice (5 min).
