More About Coach Jeremy

I have been training basketball and skill position players in football since my sophomore year of undergrad at Southern University in 2008. One of my former basketball trainees and players was recently named District MVP as well as the MVP of the 2016 Louisiana High School Coaches Association All-Star Game and has signed to compete on the collegiate level at LSU-A. In addition, 17 other former trainees have played or signed to play collegiate basketball and football at the JUCO, Division III, and Division I levels.
Additionally, I have coached basketball ever since I was a player, myself. I held my first coaching job at the age of 16, volunteering as an assistant coach to an 11-year-old boys' AAU team. I have been coaching basketball ever since with 4 years as an LHSAA certified coach at the high school varsity level.

2nd Team All-District and 1st Team All-District Defensive Team - 2007
School Record holder for 3-pointers made in a single game - 16
AAU National Championship Quarterfinalist 2002, 2005, 2007
AAU State Champion

Sessions will vary depending on player position, ability, and goals. All sessions will focus on three aspects of elite athletic performance: 1) mechanics 2) conditioning/agility 3) injury prevention
Guards will focus first on ball handling mechanics with an emphasis on maintaining floor vision. Next, guards will learn how to form proper shooting mechanics and develop quicker shooting releases in order to create better shooting opportunities against bigger opponents. Because basketball is a high-tempo game, every drill will have conditioning and/or agility training techniques intertwined within them. All sessions will end free throws and proper instruction on how to stretch, cool , and recover in order to maintain one's body.
While my specialty is in training guards, post players can also benefit from my rigorous "Post Gauntlet," which focuses on explosiveness, hand and footwork development, and post shooting techniques.
