More About Coach Jennifer
Growing up in Upstate New York led me to several adventurous and athletic endeavors. Throughout high school and college I was always passionate about the fitness world and dove into it from an early start. While completing my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Consumer Health, I would personal train clients of all types on how to become their most powerful and advanced self they desired. I would coach people on their exercise regimes, mindfulness, diet, sleep habits, and overall outlooks on the journey of fitness and health. The typical age brackets that I would work with were from elementary aged children to elderly adults. I believe each person has the ability to reach the goals they so yearn for, all it takes is a little push, and I’m the perfect driver for that!
Throughout college and my youth, I would partake in numerous athletic activities. Softball being my main sport, then soccer, track, cheerleading, gymnastics, and snowboarding, I would like to think I am quite the well rounded athlete! I competed at The College at Brockport in Brockport, New York in women’s soccer and softball.
The client’s desires is what I work to achieve. They can expect the utmost respect, diligence, optimism, and determination from me as their coach in order to get to the place in life they’d like to be. I would focus on ensuring they were educated on why they’d like to reach these heights, and the necessary steps that it would take to get there; communication and vulnerability is key. In essence to a session, a client whom may like to get into shape or lose some pounds, I would recommend to begin with an adequate amount of stretching, mindful suggestions and statements such as “we work as a cohesive unit to capitalize on ____”, a warm up including 5/10 mins cardio, body weight drills, abs, and the muscle group intending to be workout upon, and then dive into the weights, followed up with the sauna.
