More About Coach Jennifer

I am currently one of the city's high schools head track and field coaches. I have coached all levels of the sport from beginner and on. Besides working with high school athletes, I also coach and train members for the YMCA of Greater Springfield. I have been coaching for almost five years. I coached children from as young as five years old up to athletes in college. I am comfortable with coaching anyone of any age, I don’t have a preference for age or level of ability. I am currently studying to take my first coaching license test for United States of America Track and Field (USATF).

In high school, I was a three-time Divisional champion, a three-time State champion, and a one-time New England champion. I also ran and competed at three National meets. I competed at the collegiate level at the University of Rhode Island which is division I and a part of the Atlantic 10 conference. I've competed twice at the Penn Relays and various states outside of New England such as Florida, North Carolina, and Nebraska.

A typical session with me will begin with fundamentals and basics. A simple warm-up which will incorporate drills, stretching and simple steps to get ready for a workout. Clients will endure cardiovascular endurance, weight training, and learn flexibility exercises and range of motion of the body.
