I have 24 years of experience coaching intercollegiate basketball, all at the NCAA level. Eleven of those years were as a highly successful head coach (220 wins...20 wins on average per season and 6 NCAA post-season tournament appearances), and the other 13 years as an assistant coach at the NCAA Division 1 level.

I enjoy working with players of all ages and skill levels. Because of my responsibilities as both an assistant coach, and as head coach, I have a vast amount of experience teaching both guards and posts. Regardless of the position I've always been a strong believer in making my players as "well-rounded" as possible. As a head coach I always placed a premium on the skill development of our players.

I will start my sessions with a dynamic warm-up, followed by skill and footwork development, ball handling, shooting, and lots of repetition. I will steadily try to increase the athlete's shooting range as well as develop their individual moves on the perimeter and in the post. There will also be time spent at each session on individual defense. After each session it is my hope that the athlete will feel that they were challenged, their confidence has grown, and that their love for basketball will be enhanced.
