Jeff Benson

Coached on the AAU circuit for 8 years in Arizona (Powerhouse) and Connecticut (Connecticut Knights).
I worked with ages 9 - 17 years old in both coaching and training over the last few years.
I also co-founded the Laveen Youth Basketball Skills Academy in Arizona 2016. We work primarily with youth ages 4 - 12 years old on a recreational level but also have Skills Academies that teach skill development.

Won NJCAA National Championship with Community College of Beaver County
Won Player of the Year for PSAC Conference (Bloomsburg University, Div II)
All conference, all region, etc.

A typical session from me will emphasize the fundamentals of basketball (ball handling, shooting, footwork, etc).
My first session is general in nature to get a feel for where the athlete is skill wise. Once that is established we will also infuse the goals of the student athlete and family, we will review realistic goals and plans to achieve those goals. From there we will work extremely hard to meet and exceed those goals.
