More About Coach Jason

I prefer to work in groups of 2 but I can do 1 on 1 and coach in groups. I have been coaching football and basketball since 2004. I started my sports performance business, Williams Sports and Fitness in January 2013 and have steadily grown each year. My qualifications are as follows:

-Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS) - National Strength and Conditioning Association
-US Track and Field Level 1 Certification
-EXOS Level 1 Certification/Mentorship (Pending) - EXOS (Formerly known as Athletes Performance - regarded as one of the best sports performance companies in the world).
-Former Division 1 College Football Player

I coach a wide array of athletes from football, basketball, baseball, cross country runners etc.

I was a two year letter winner at the University of Idaho. I started all four special teams and played in the 2 deep my freshman and sophomore year. A career ending neck injury my sophomore ended my playing career.

In high school I was an All State Linebacker in 1999 (State of Washington) as well as the Defensive MVP of the Washington All State Game.

One of the things I take a lot of pride in is preparation. In order to prepare an athlete must know where he/she is at. Before I will train an athlete I will take conduct a thorough (2-3 hour) assessment that assesses the following:

Movement Qualities - Identify potential injury concerns, assess mobility/stability in joints. One of my testing methods is a Functional Movement Screen (FMS)

Strength Qualities - Identify which qualities need improving - One athlete may need to improve starting strength while another may need to improve reactive strength.

Speed/Movement Qualities - I will assess mechanics and weak links as well as take speed and agility times.

Fiber Type - Identify whether athlete is slow twitch or fast twitch

My son really enjoyed working with Coach Jason! He is looking forward to his next lesson.

We look forward to many more lessons with Coach Jason. Excellent coach!

Awesome coach

Awesome session.Coach is very knowledgeable about the sport.

Coach Jason helped my grandson understand how important being dedicated to a sport is
This is his first session and we have signed up for continuing sessions

We are well pleased

Coach Jason is amazing! We are so thankful that we found him. He has already improved our nephew’s time after 2 sessions and we couldn’t be more excited! He is professional and the bonus is he has outstanding integrity and Christian values.

Coach Jason was very insightful with what was going on with my son’s knee and ankle issues. We got to work on fixing them with the stretches he he gave us so that we can get to work on getting faster.

Coach Jason was awesome. He really knows what he's talking about. My son needed help with technique for his football position, and Jason was able to give him specific instruction and helped him practice it. He was also friendly and encouraging. Great coaching session!! He also responded very quickly to my coaching request and traveled to meet us at a convenient location. We hope to use him again.

After two session my daughter confidence and work ethic has improved her running style tremendously

Coach Jason connected with my daughter right off the bat, he made her feel very comfortable. He showed us several things to do to get her faster and stronger. She is super excited to start this training with coach Jason.

Coach Jason accommodated our schedule and met with my daughter on our vacation. He not only taught her some tricks of the trade to enhance her basketball game, but he also took her in the weight room and gave her some exercises to do to strengthen her knee which is recovering from surgery three months ago.

Coach Jason has restored my son's self-confidence in just two training sessions. His knowledge of the physiology of the dynamics of running is off the chart. He is not just teaching him to accelerate and run faster, but showing him the total commitment and requirements of being an athlete.

Coach Jason was very thorough and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend him.

Coach Jason is God sent. My son is a student naval aviator at NAS Pensacola. He failed his PRT due to hip flexor muscle strain. Coach Jason quickly identified the source of the problem that was causing the hip flexor muscle strain. The pain is gone and he should nail his PRT next time. ThanksCoach Jason!
You saved my son's naval career!

Listened to Kristi tell a friend what she learned from you....where her weaknesses are and how she can improve her strengths. I can hear the excitement in her voice. Already enjoy watching her in the games but can't wait to next season to see what spending an off season training with you will do. Thanks! (Her parents)

Coach Jason is awesome!
He has just started working with my boys, who are 9 & 11, and we are already seeing big dividends. He really relates well to the boys and they are constantly asking when we can do another session. It makes such a big difference when training is fun and they actually look forward to it!

My son is 13 years old and is an all around good athelete . We have had many good coaches over the years. Coach Jason is very detailed and precise and we believe his coaching will allow our son to reach his goals and take sports to another level.
