More About Coach Jasmine
I am currently a coach at Saddleback Volleyball Club, and work with different ranges of players from 12 up to 17. Alongside team coaching, I run and help with small group & private development sessions focused on consistency, serve receive positioning, defensive footwork, and communication.
Outside of volleyball, I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Performance Coach at Marke1 Performance where I train athletes for strength & conditioning; working from young athletes to the pros. I also hold a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist certification, which allows me to blend volleyball skill work with performance training.
I have played volleyball for over 10 years, competing as a Libero/DS & serving specialist, as well as a utility player when needed. I competed in both indoor and beach volleyball at Saddleback College, which gave me the experience reading the game at a collegiate level and adapting my defensive mindset across both formats. My playing background shapes my coaching style - I train athletes to move with confidence and compete with awareness.
Whether your athlete is a libero or a hitter, each session is structured to build consistency and competitive awareness not just reps:
Warm Up & Movement Prep - dynamic footwork activation, shoulder prep to get your athlete moving, and some play rather than just warming up casually.
Technical Breakdown - focused work on serve receive positioning, platform angles, footwork patterns, serving, and defensive movement efficiency with correction and game speed repetition.
Game-Speed Application - live scenario drills where you must adjust and make reads under pressure.
Mindset & Feedback - I give direct feedback on strengths, development points, and one mindset assignment or focus cue to carry into their next practice or game.
My goal is not just to train - but to mentor athletes into leaders who play with conviction, not hesitation.
