I was a cheerleader for 10 years. Sixth through eighth grade I cheered on a recreational squad during the summer and fall, as well as on the middle school squad in the winter. In High School, I was on the varsity squad for all four years and was a captain for my last two years. My senior year, I helped lead my squad to the Illinois High School Association cheerleading state finals for the first time in school history. Also, my last two years of high school I was a coach for the recreational team in our town. After graduating High School in 2009, I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I cheered for two years at the university and one year on an all-star team. In my college cheer experience, I was always in a leadership position as well. My last year of college, I did not cheer as I decided to focus solely on grades and wedding planning. After graduating college in 2013, I moved to Virginia Beach, got married and took a full-time sales position. Though I am currently employed, I miss cheer dearly and have been searching for coaching positions.

In a session, I would begin with asking for what you or the individual interested in the training would like to achieve. From there I would design a plan to help achieve those goals. As a cheerleader, I believe it is important to perfect motions, always have high spirits, have correct form in jumps, and improve flexibility.
I have also based on both sides, back-spotted, and flown. Therefore, I have experience in each stunt position and could assist stunt groups as well.
Since I am new to the area, I would need suggestions or recommendations on where to do your training. If you have a place in mind that would be fantastic.

A session would revolve around the needs of an individual. I can work individually or help a stunt group. You tell me what you want to accomplish and I will tailor the session to help meet those needs.
