I was the assistant to the Varsity Coach for the Laguna Beach High-school tennis team for 2 years. I have been teaching private lessons for 5 years and have worked with all age groups, but typically my clients are between the ages of 8-35.

My name is James and I'm a full-time coach/hitting partner in Laguna Niguel, California. I grew up in Laguna Beach, California and began competing in USTA tournaments at the age of eight. As a senior in high school, I won the CIF champship for Laguna Beach Highschool in 2010.

As a coach/hitting partner, I've had the pleasure to work with tens of juniors of every skill level and aspiration, and whom I have helped improve and achieve their short/long-term goals. Having the opportunity to guide players, share their ongoing process, and help them achieve their goals is always a remarkable experience.
Session plans are specifically designed for each and every individual I work with. The first lesson will be primarily focused on determining the skill level of the athlete, what they want to focus on, and their strengths and weakness. From there I will create a lesson plan that is tailored specifically for the athlete allowing for maximum growth and improved performance. My sessions will focus on physical performance, hand eye coordination, focus, the ability to multitask.
