More About Coach James
I played 4 years of Division I baseball at UCLA, where I competed at the highest collegiate level and developed a deep understanding of pitching and player development. During my time there, I also coached the UCLA bullpen while recovering from injury, giving me hands-on experience working with pitchers on mechanics, command, and mental preparation.
I later coached the UCLA Club Baseball Team, helping pitchers refine their skills and elevate their game. I also spent a summer playing in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League, competing against some of the nation’s top talent.
I now offer pitching lessons focused on mechanics, command, and approach—helping players build consistency, confidence, and next-level mound presence.

We’ll start with a light game of catch to get loose and assess throwing mechanics. From there, I’ll help build a personalized warm-up and throwing routine tailored to each pitcher. I’ll evaluate mechanics to identify areas for improvement, then introduce targeted drills to develop consistency and efficiency. We’ll finish with a bullpen session, where I’ll record video to track progress and provide feedback over time.
