I have worked with every age group from t-ball to high school. My select/travel organization, the East Texas LumberKings, currently has 49 players and 14 coaches on 4 teams. I spend my fall time coaching with the LumberKings, and my spring time coaching high school ball for the Neches Tigers.

In high school I was an All-District pitcher my junior and senior year. Due to poor arm health, I was unable to take an offer from Navarro JC to pitch in college. I required shoulder surgery following a short stint in a summer wood bat league. Instead, I walked on to the football team at Sam Houston State University and made the hundred man roster for one season (2000).

I usually work with pitchers or hitters, but I would also like to start working with catchers in private sessions. I typically run a 45 minute lesson, and my drills are age and ability specific. I recently started summer pitching camps this past year, and they went very well.
A pitching session involves balance and flexibility, arm care with bands, and scapular muscle training. All of this is done before picking up a ball. Pitching drills are centered around a mix philosophy of some of my favorite pitching coaches, in addition to an invention of mine called a "reverse bullpen".
