More About Coach James
Have coached softball at Varsity High School Softball, Travel Softball, and, currently at the College level. Experience coaching softball and strength and conditioning of athletes. Currently, head coach women’s softball at Christendom College. Ages 7-24. Strength and Conditioning certifications including level 1 and level 2 US Weightlifting Certification.
Athletic accomplishments include high school baseball, men’s fast-pitch softball, and Olympic Style Weightlifting Coach. Currently, Strength and Conditioning Coach at Christendom College in charge of 10 team sports.
Client can expect a high quality session of teaching and learning softball hitting, pitching, and fundamental techniques of fielding. Specific drills will include 6 step process of correct hitting, assessments using technology for measuring speed accuracy, swing pathway, and proper biomechanics of hitting and throwing. The athlete will receive and understand importance of stretching, dynamic warmups, short and long toss, and firing neuromuscular memory impulses. Also, activation of muscles in upper and lower body with fascia release of fibers throughout the body.
