I have spent the last 8 years coaching private basketball lessons and travel teams in Ann Arbor MI and Toledo OH. I have a USA Basketball Gold Cert as well as a registered NCAA coach. I am currently coaching for Glass City Athletics in Toledo, OH. I spend my summers traveling around the country running NBA player camps for kids with players like Jahlil Okafor, Bryn Forbes, Sam Dekker, Frank Kaminsky, Ethan Happ, Monte Morris, Tim Hardaway Jr and Trey Burke.

I played college baseball. D1 at eastern Michigan university and D3 at Calvin College. In HS i played in a basketball state championship as well as the Michigan HS Basketball All Star Game.

I’m a technical coach and I like to focus on specific movements and how to make them more efficient. I usually start by breaking the move down, having the athlete try it to see how well they do for a couple reps, then I proceed to fine tune. I’ve found that more progress is made when you force the athlete to rely on their ability instead of giving them a hundred things to think about form the get go.
