I have a few years of experience under my belt coaching at the youth and high school level. I have coached recreational leagues between 8U, 10U and 12U age groups, and served as a primary assistant and player-development coach for a varsity team at Kaplan High School. I can work with any players from the youth to high schoolers. In terms of certifications, I have a LHSCA card for coaching at the high school level.

In terms of athletic accomplishments, I was a four-year player, two-year starter at the varsity level for Kaplan High School and earned All-District Honorable Mention my senior season. I enjoyed taking pride in the small, winning traits it took to win basketball games — whether it be vocal leadership, defensive communication, rebounding, taking charges, off-ball movement offensively, etc. Being able to scale up or down with usage in any lineup was extremely important to me.

A client can expect an extremely upbeat and personable coach that will consistently look for innovative ways to not only improve their game, but keep the sessions interesting. I am very big believer in building a relationship between a player and a coach, so the sessions will largely be dictated on the client’s feedback based on what they feel their strengths and weaknesses are, along with what they’re looking to get out of it. Drills can range to learning key team principles to individual skills (ball handling, shooting, passing, defensive techniques).
