I've coached 8th grade boys basketball last year.I enjoy teaching all aspects of the game.Its my favorite sport myself.I enjoy learning more and more about the game and sharing that with others.Would teach proper shooting form as well as post play and defense.I also am a ACSM certified personal trainer. My first students name is Trever. We have worked together now for 3 weeks 1 on 1. We do 1hr of drills and then 30min of weight training. He is 13yrs old. Thanks!

Well I didn't play in high school or college.I was home schooled all grades and had different goals at the time.But since I was young I always played basketball and enjoyed it.Went threw some difficult teenage years and really spent those years dedicated to improving my basketball skills.So basketball is special to me.Everyone said I should of tried to get a scholarship so I became pretty good threw my personal practices.

First figure out what kind of player I'm dealing with.What he needs to improve on and his goals and then use that as basis for the workout.I would always want his shooting mechanics to be proper and then go from there.But dribbling,footwork,shooting,passing,mindset.All these would be worked on.
