I work off of these concepts: Skill Enhancement, Game development, and workouts.
Skill Enhancement: We will work on 1 or 2 specific skills. It's extremely detailed and focused specifically on concepts that the athlete needs to develop. It's more about quality over quantity
Game development: This is where we focus on actions and concepts that could happen in the game. This could include screen actions, pick and roll reads, etc...
Workouts: This is similar to the typical basketball training. We really want to focus on reps and speed. We can have aspects of game development and skill enhancement. But we increase speed to make the movements more difficult.
Absolutes of workouts: Ball handling, Rips/pivots/jabs, change pace/change direction, finishing, and shooting.

Client Reviews
Shirley (CoachUp client)
Jake did a great job working with my 11 year old granddaughter. She has not played very much. Jake was patient when showing her skills and giving her instructions. He really knows how to work with young people. He really knows how to teach techniques and has a great attitude. I would highly recommend Jake for anyone interested in learning or improving their skills in basketball. Great job Jake!
