More About Coach Jack

Currently training at Trinity Valley Middle School for 6th graders and I specialize not only in lacrosse skill development but I also put an emphasis on having the highest of lacrosse IQ when you're on the field. I coach all positions on the field except for goalie. As a midfielder you are required to know both sides of the ball better than anyone else on the field and I emphasize the importance of this ability to command both the offense and defense. I am a young experienced player and coach that is able to connect to players in a way that gets them excited and disciplined about the game of lacrosse.

I have over 12 years of lacrosse experience as a player playing at the highest level across the country. I won a state championship at Highland Park High School as a midfielder in 2015 and played under coaches Derek and Ross Thompson. I played for the Dallas travel team Coast 2 Coast as well as the Maryland based team Next Level Lacrosse. I played in tournaments in Maryland, New York, Colorado, and other premier states where the talent is amongst the best in the country. I now play for the TCU club lacrosse team as a midfielder.

Regardless of skill level going into the session, I will be fine crafting and getting rid of bad habits in stickwork including throwing, catching, shooting, ground balls, and defensive/offensive positioning. As training progresses, sessions will be more focused on not only how to make yourself better but how to make your teammates better as well. This has a lot to do with what you do when you have the ball and more importantly what you do without the ball. We will always work with both hands during sessions in order to fine craft their skillset to make them a better lacrosse player.
