More About Coach Isaiah

I've assisted coached and trained younger kids 5-13 years of age for San Ramon FC. Currently I'm coaching for an indoor/futsal club (Matadors) based in Concord with kids 7-12years old. I've helped out at trainings with the De La Salle HS soccer teams from freshman through Varsity for multiple years but was officially the JV assistant coach last year and will be the Varsity assistant coach this year.

I played HS at De La Salle where I was a 2 year Varsity starter earning All 1st Team League my junior year. Senior year I played for Earthquakes Academy which made me unable to play HS.
I played College for Chico State where I was a 4 year starter throughout the Defensive line and where I earned All League honorable mention my junior and senior years.
I've played Semi professional for PDL teams for 2 seasons with the former Burlingame Dragons and most recently the newly established SF Glens.
I trialed/trained with Spanish league 2B team Real Union for 3 months (2017)
I played professionally 2nd Divison In Latvia for FK Jurnieks where I transferred midseason and started and helped the team rise to 4th place overall and 2nd place in Riga Cup. (2018)
I played 3rd division in Greece for Kifisia of Athens for 4 months before returning home for a better opportunity. (2019)
Most recently I played for the Chattanooga Redwolves in the USL League One (3rd division here in the US) in 2020.

I have a plethora of drills to use to get athletes better at things they wish to improve on. Mainly I focus sessions either around passing or dribbling or a combination of both. I can also run technical sessions based on getting as many touches on the ball as possible and even incorporating some quick turns/cuts/skill moves. For a typical session I'll usually run an hour or slightly over and I'll start with some juggling and vitamins (short passing/volleys). After a few different variations, I'll then move into some ladder work afterwards to get the muscles more warmed up and work on agility/coordination/balance. Then, I'll slowly move into higher paced dribbling/passing exercise to make sure the player's warmed up fully and their heart rate steadily rises for each drills necessity. If the player wants/needs it I will end with some fitness based drills and a brief cool down and stretch.

Great coach

My 12-year old son Marcus really enjoyed his time with Isaiah. He’s a very technical coach who relates very well with kids..

Coach Isaiah is a great coach and my son enjoys training with him. I have seen improvement in his skills and we plan to continue training with Coach Isaiah. Elias was nervous about personal training, but Coach Isaiah is young, relates well with him, and very flexible/responsive. We were able to watch Coach Isaiah play one of his games and this inspired Elias to improve in his overall game and be more like his coach. We highly recommend Coach Isaiah!

My 14 year old daughter loves going to sessions with Coach Isaiah. She likes the different drills! She has been playing on club teams since she was 8 and she said she has never seen some of the drills Isaiah is having her do. She said it is really helping with her first touch, reaction to the ball and setting up for the next pass. She is super motivated to get better with her skills! Thanks Isaiah!

Isaiah is a great coach and has a bunch of fun drills that that have helped me become a better soccer player. My first touch and speed of play has improved a lot since I've started training with him.
