More About Coach Isaiah

I've assisted coaching and trained mainly younger kids 5-13 years of age for San Ramon FC but am capable of training HS athletes as well. I've helped out at trainings with the De La Salle HS soccer teams at the freshmen and varsity levels so I know the quality and expectations from players at that level.

I played HS at De La Salle where I was a 2 year Varsity starter earning All 1st Team League my junior year. Senior year I played for Earthquakes Academy which made me unable to play HS.
I played College for Chico State where I was a 4 year starter throughout the Defensive line and where I earned All League honorable mention my junior and senior years.
I've played Semi professional for PDL teams for 2 seasons with the former Burlingame Dragons and most recently the newly established SF Glens.
I played professionally 2nd Divison In Latvia for FK Jurnieks where I transferred midseason and started and helped the team rise to 4th place overall and 2nd place in Riga Cup.
I also trialed with Spanish league 2B team Real Union for 3 months

I have a plethora of drills to use. Mainly I focus sessions either around passing or dribbling or a combination of both. I can also run technical sessions based on getting as many touches on the ball as possible and even incorporating some quick turns/cuts/skill moves. For a usual session I'll usually run an hour to two hours long and I'll start with some juggling. After a few different variations we'll then move onto a dynamic warm up filled with stretches and maybe some ladder work afterwards. Then slowly move into higher paced dribbling/passing exercise to make sure the player's warmed up fully and their heart rate steadily rises for each drills necessity. If the player wants/needs it I will end with some fitness based drills and a brief cool down and stretch.

Client Reviews

Coach Isaiah is a great coach and my son enjoys training with him. I have seen improvement in his skills and we plan to continue training with Coach Isaiah. Elias was nervous about personal training, but Coach Isaiah is young, relates well with him, and very flexible/responsive. We were able to watch Coach Isaiah play one of his games and this inspired Elias to improve in his overall game and be more like his coach. We highly recommend Coach Isaiah!

My 14 year old daughter loves going to sessions with Coach Isaiah. She likes the different drills! She has been playing on club teams since she was 8 and she said she has never seen some of the drills Isaiah is having her do. She said it is really helping with her first touch, reaction to the ball and setting up for the next pass. She is super motivated to get better with her skills! Thanks Isaiah!
