More About Coach Isabella
I’m currently a 14U volleyball coach with Allegheny Volleyball Club and also work as a personal trainer. Throughout my athletic career, I’ve assisted with numerous softball clinics, which has strengthened my ability to teach skills, build confidence, and support athlete development. I’m now looking to expand my experience by offering one-on-one training sessions, where I can provide individualized instruction and help athletes reach their full potential.
I have been playing softball since I was five years old, beginning in recreational league and progressing through travel ball and high school competition. I started playing travel softball at age 12, where I developed strong skills and a deep understanding of the game.
In high school, my team captured the Heritage Conference Championship, and after advancing into the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL), we finished second in the state — one of the highest competitive achievements in our region.
With my travel team, I experienced sustained success, winning multiple tournaments and competing in prestigious World Series events in Myrtle Beach and Nashville. I’ve also won several home run derbies along the way.
I’m a versatile player who has competed at every position on the field except catcher, giving me a well-rounded perspective and the ability to help athletes improve in every area of the game.
Because I am well-rounded on the field, my training sessions can be tailored to meet each athlete’s individual goals — whether that means working on broad fundamentals or focusing on highly specific skills. I can develop position-specific techniques for both infielders and outfielders, and I also work extensively on batting mechanics, including different hitting approaches and situational hitting.
My sessions are purposeful and structured: we slow the game down to break down proper mechanics and reinforce fundamentals, while also incorporating game-speed drills so athletes learn how to apply those skills in real-time competition.
