More About Coach Indira
I have coached for the last 13 years and served as a Head Coach at the college, HS and MS level athletes in California and abroad. I like to work with athletes that really want to improve their shooting accuracy from jump shots, on and off ball screens, and getting open by yourself within any play. I will help you understand your positioning and timing in order to get your best shot off. We will work on all aspects of the game; dribbling, passing, defense, and also work on your form, speed of your release and focus heavily on improving your focus, mental strength and most importantly your self-confidence.
I played at D1 Tulane University and my proudest achievement was that I was awarded Newcomer of the year award and the 13th in NCAA for my 3pt shooting percentage at 42%. I played professionally overseas for a few years, averaging 25pts, 8 rebounds and 3 assists! I have won MVP of many teams I have played on and my goal as a coach and trainer is to share my knowledge and help other athletes achieve their highest level of shooting and playing ability.
Outline of shooting practice:
1. warm up
2. one hand shooting
3. on ball screens to a shot
4. off ball screens to a shot
5. moving without the ball to position yourself to be open for a shot.
6. Fun competitive games/ drills with keeping score to activate your brain
7. Work on the mental component of shooting.
You will be sent home with a task to watch 10-15 minutes of various shooters, so that you can learn from the best and when we meet again, we will work on what you learned.

Our 11 YO daughter had her first session with Coach Indira today and just loved it! While Indira was incredibly positive and supportive, she also repeatedly encouraged our daughter (who tends not to push herself athletically) to dig deeper and push harder. I was also impressed with how much ground Coach Indira covered in a 1 hour session. Our daughter found the lesson very fun but also physically challenging. Coach Indira covered the basics of positioned, dribbling, shooting and much much more. At the end of the session, my daughter begged me to sign up for more sessions which I happily did. Would highly recommend Coach Indira!

Indira is the real deal. She is smart, sophisticated and invested in improving your game. She knows how to break things down so you or your child understands what needs to be done to get to the next level. She is tough and disciplined but 100 percent supportive. We feel lucky to have found her!!

Great fit for our daughter. My daughter is an athlete who likes a good workout and is dedicated to improving her basketball skills. Coach Indira is teaching her a lot and pushes her to grow in a way that really works.

Coach Indira has been awesome to work with! We have worked on rebuilding my shot from the ground up with close attention to each detail to ensure I have the proper foundation. In addition to that, we have spent time on ball handling mechanics, speed drills, etc to ensure I have maximum success on the court. I am very impressed that Indira has answers to every question I ask about the mechanics and fundamentals of the game. In general, she is a great person to work with and incredibly patient. I look forward to continue improving my game with her guidance!

Indira (Testimonial)
Throughout my basketball journey, Coach Indira had been fundamental to my growth, from offering game opportunities versus other academies, attending coaching clinics, watching professional dunk contests to hosting basketball camps with professional NBA players and having an official FIBA 3x3 game, I myself played in. Through all those experiences, she managed to simultaneously instruct and reassure me. Coach Indira amplified my passion for the game and taught me many valuable skills that are used in basketball games such as decision making on the court and life lessons that I can implement in my daily life." - Tala
