• 5 seasons as the Cyclones’ pitching coach, also holding the position in 2007, 2006, 2004, and 2003.
• • In each of his years as the pitching coach, the Cyclones’ staff was ranked in the top three in team ERA...In ‘07, the Cyclones had the NYPL’s best ERA (2.93)...In ‘06, the Cyclones had the league’s second-best ERA (2.96)...staff also ranked second (3.12) in ‘04, and third in in ‘03 (2.97).
• • Cyclones pitchers racked up double-digit shutouts in each of Berrios’ four seasons (10 in 2007, 10 in 2006, 10 in 2004, and 11 in 2003)...Those seasons were the only ones in which Cyclones pitchers have reached double-digit shutouts.
• • Under Berrios, Cyclones pitchers had a 2.70 K/BB ratio (totaling 2,279 strikeouts and just 844 walks).
• •Berrios was the pitching coach for the Gulf Coast Mets (R) in 2005.
• • Spent five years with the Toronto Blue Jays organization (1998-2002) as the pitching coach for Hagerstown (A), Charleston (A), and Dunedin (A).

• • Graduated from James Monroe HS in the Bronx...Was named to the 1979 All-City team as a P/OF
• Was in big league camp in 1988 with Detroit Tigers as well as with the L. A. Dodgers in 1992 as a player. Played in winter ball with San Juan and Santurce in Puerto Rico and played in two Caribbean championship series in Hermosillo, Mexico and Miami Florida.
