More About Coach Hannah
I have been coaching for around 7 years at this point. I have coached both Futsal and Soccer, from ages 3-16 years old. I work for RSA, a soccer academy out of southeastern Mass, running clinics and summer sessions. Most of my time coaching has been spent at the recreational level, but I also have experience at the club level. I have been coaching players one on one for over 5 years now, ranging from players looking to just improve, or those very serious about soccer and looking to play at the collegiate level. At this point I typically work with high schoolers looking to get to the next level, however any ages 9-18 I am open to working with. I am currently working on getting my coaching licenses and am 11v11 certified, as well as safe sport certified.
I have been playing soccer for 18 years and still counting. I played at the club level for 9 of those years, 7 of those years spent at the ECNL level. I played for FC Stars' top ECNL team for 6 years, and 1 year at Scorpions top ECNL team in my age group. Competed in 3 ECNL national championships. I currently compete at the Division I level at Stonehill College. I have been a 4 year starter at this program, receiving player of the year, all conference first team, United Soccer Coaches All north region team, United Soccer Coaches players watch list for the 2025 season, and part of Top Drawer Soccer's team of the week. Along with these accolades I also competed at USSF Regional and National futsal national championships this past winter. I also was invited to compete at TST this past summer, a high-energy, 7v7 soccer festival that features a 7-on-7 world championship with a $1 million winner. Competing against many professional players, and upcoming pros.
A typical session for me varies significantly on the the player I am tending to. If a player is looking to improve the basic fundamentals, then I would focus on repetition, and small technical changes. If I have a player that is focusing on improving their game for the collegiate level, I would dial in on position specifics what sets them apart from other players, continue to feed that attribute and quality. Sessions also vary based on position, level of play, and level of seriousness, All sessions follow the same path, warm up, always a technical warm, what the specific thing we are looking to improve, a position specific drill, and a competitive game to push yourself.
