More About Coach Haley
I have experience training athlete of all ages and levels. I have worked as a coach in many camps for the University of Pennsylvania, training athletes as young as five years old to athletes in their senior year of high school looking to get recruited to play in college. I have also trained in one on one sessions, allowing me to cater specifically to individual athletes.
From u-12 to u-18 I played for a club that competed at the highest level both regionally and nationally. I also participated in ODP where I traveled internationally for the regional team and was in the pool for the U.S. National Team. I went on to play division one soccer at the University of Pennsylvania where I was a captain my senior year.
It mostly depends on the athlete needs- for example, position would have an impact on the drills/session plan. Also what the athlete are looking to work on most: technique, long balls, shooting, speed/agility, back-to-goal defending, footwork, turning in small spaces, etc. Ideally I would for like to sit down with the athlete and discuss the above - but for someone like me who was a defender and always had problem with agility, I would begin the session with a speed ladder and then gradually incorporate more ball work while still working on quick movements both forward/ backwards and laterally (i.e. weaving laterally though cones with a volley variation at each end). I prefer to end each session with a technical repetition (i.e. passing with a ball and a wall), one of the best ways to keep technically crisp and comfortable with ball at your feet.

Haley coached my two boys for beginner soccer. They loved her and the session! We met her at Pan Pacific park and she had everything set up already for them. Thanks, Haley!
