Greetings!

My name is Gio and I am a coach and trainer helping soccer players of all levels pursue their passion and reach their goals. I have been a coach, evaluator, and instructor for the Olympic Development Program in Eastern Pennsylvania and now Northern California for over 10 years. I currently have two youth traveling-competitive teams, and work with players all over Northern California and Central Oregon in private and group settings. My players range from age 6 to age 45, all at different abilities and stages of development. I combine technical, tactical, and mental training to help players of any age or ability improve their skills and better understand the game. My specialty is and always will be tailoring my sessions and development plans to fit each player, according to their specific needs. I strive to make sure that any player I work with improves, but more importantly, I strive to make sure they enjoy themselves and the sport of soccer, which has given me so much.

As a player, I was on youth teams that played in National Championships, and won several College Showcase tournaments. I was named all-conference in college, and graduated with several school records, including career points, career assists, single season assists, and game winning goals. I had a brief stint as professional, and played in the semi-professional ranks after completing my college eligibility and receiving my degree from Immaculata University, outside of Philadelphia, PA.

My sessions are interactive, challenging mentally and physically, and most of all, fun! I take pride in my ability to reach and help players of all ages and ability levels and would love to help your player improve and have fun in the process!

Varies by player. I use a mix of technical, tactical and mental training to help each player, based on their specific needs. Most younger players need more technical training, where older players need tactical training, I specialize in finding the balance for each player.

Gio is a phenomenal personal soccer trainer. Our son is 8 years old and Gio has the ability to connect with him and get immediate results. Our son has improved confidence, skill, aggression on the field, and motivation to play and is constantly asking when his next training session is going to take place. I highly recommend Gio as a personal soccer coach.

Great round of sessions with Gio. First of all super convenient and easy to work with, as a working parent this is half the battle. I have both my daughters working with Gio. My younger daughter tried out some moves in a recent game and the other parents were all giving her compliments. I was pretty proud watching her. My older daughter is also getting training on more technical skills that she needs so she use them vs. only her speed. Biggest plus is my girls really like Gio. We will definitely continue.

This week was the first training session with my son and I was very impressed. We arrived and he was ready to go before the scheduled session time. Once there, Coach Gio greeted my son, I explained what my assessment of areas to improve upon. The first session was more of gaining his own personal assessment then got right down to business on conditioning and drills. Worth every penny and the next session is already scheduled!

My daughter just finished her first training with Gio and he was awesome! He showed up early, he made the training fun, and he kept my daughter engaged! She can't wait until her next session with him. I look forward to seeing her grow as a soccer player with Coach Gio's help!!

My daughter is 15 and had her first session with Gio. She really enjoyed her time with him . Gio worked with her to assess her skill level . Worked on first touches and ball movement and shots on goal. Asked her valid question during drills to make sure she comprehended . Very patient with her looking forward to our next two sessions. Coach Gio worked with my 11 year old daughter. Not only was he very knowledgeable, he was able to get to her level and work really well with her. It is great to have a coach who has knowledge along with the ability to communicate it. Plus he came all the way out to Tracy to work with her. I highly recommend him.

Gio was very helpful in my daughter's first soccer training session. She very much enjoyed working with him, she said he worked her hard which is just what she needed! The only thing I would have liked would be that we practiced on a real field, I felt that should have been planned better. Looking forward to booking more sessions with Gio in the future!! He was awesome!
