More About Coach George
I have had over 30+ years of coaching, playing and training. I coached in high school for 10 years, and I run my own Travel ball team. I train ages 6- high school.
I played college basketball at Texas El Paso and I was drafted in 1995 by the Miami Heat. I then played 15 years of professional basketball overseas.
First, we go through a basketball assessment to see the skill level. Then we start with balance and getting the player to feel, and understand his/ her body when it comes to basketball movements. Next, we break down shot mechanics and ball handling. Then we go over the fundamentals of how to play in the post and understanding the word associations to the moves.
