More About Coach Gene

I am currently working with all ages. I have worked with beginners , advanced players, nationally ranked players and professionals on the tour. I am USPTA Certified 1. I recently Was Director of Tennis at Green Gables. I was the assistant coach at Mullin High.

I was #5 Nationally ranked in doubles with USPTA and #9 ranked Nationally in USPTA. I was on the #4 team in the Nation in Junior College at Central Texas Junior College. I played the number 1 spot at Southwest Texas Stat College in San Marcos. It is now Texas State University. I worked for WCT(World Championship Tennis) for 10 years. I have coached with and worked with 3 players who have achieved #1 ranking in the world.

I zero in on the client's needs . There are many things that can go wrong I focus on the few things to do right. There are may learning styles, I focus on the way the client learns .

Gene is great working with my 2 boys, 14 and 12. His style is unique but very effective and he utilized an incredible amount of positive reinforcement to keep the kids motivated and engaged.
