Gavin Beith

I am a UEFA A Licence and UEFA Elite Youth A Licence holder and current Assistant Coach with Dallas Trinity FC. With over 20 years of coaching experience across youth and adult soccer. My previous roles include serving as the Scottish FA Elite Performance Coach, Assistant Coach for the Scottish FA U17 Women’s National Team, Scottish FA Coach Educator, and Assistant Manager at Heart of Midlothian FC. These diverse positions have enabled me to refine my skills and provide high-quality guidance to support the development of each player I work with.

I am a former professional soccer player with a 10-year career spanning Dundee FC, Arbroath FC, East Fife FC, and Forfar FC. After leaving school, I began my professional journey by joining Dundee FC on a full-time basis, where I captained the youth teams and earned my first professional contract. Throughout my time at the club, I had the privilege of working with top coaches and playing alongside talented teammates, all of whom played a significant role in shaping my development both as a player and now as a coach.

My coaching philosophy is centered around creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment that fosters player development. Understanding each player’s unique learning style and needs is fundamental to my session design. I am adaptable and skilled in creating tailored sessions for all ability levels, providing detailed guidance to support individual growth. My sessions are structured around the 4-Corner Model—Technical, Tactical, Mental, and Physical—ensuring a comprehensive and holistic approach to player development.
