More About Coach Freddie
Coaching Z’s coaching bio:
Coach Zamora is currently the Head men’s basketball coach to semi-professional team Toledo Glass City B.C. He most recently was an assistant coach at Owens community college in Perrysburg, OH for the 2019-2020 season where he helped guide them to an 8 game improvement in the win column from the previous season. Along with improving in every single category and grabbing the #2 seed in the conference tournament, Coach Zamora was in charge of offensive implementation which helped guide them to be the #1 three point shooting team in the country. Other roles included player development, scouting reports, recruiting, and academic advising.
Prior to Owens Community College, Zamora spent time on the Nike EYBL circuit as a 16U assistant coach and program video coordinator with The AAU powerhouse Mokan Elite who is known for producing players such as Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks), Michael Porter jr. (Denver Nuggets) and many more. He was in charge of film editing, scouting reports, and assisting with practices for 16U. After competing in 3 tournaments the 16U program posted an incredible 18-0 record. After going undefeated in the first session in Atlanta, the team qualified to play for the Nike peach jam tournament in North Augusta South Carolina. This wasn’t Zamora’s last stop with a Nike program after spending this past summer with another well known program in All Ohio Red as an assistant coach for the 17U team.
Zamora spent his 2018-19 campaign as the assistant coach at Summit Christian Academy In Broken Arrow, OK under head coach and mentor Rodney Perry before helping with Mokan Elite. Together they would help the team earn its first ever conference championship in school history and also a district title. Zamora was in charge of video coordinating, scouting reports, player development and practice duties.
Zamora would begin his coaching career at the NCAA division 1 level as a graduate assistant coach at Oral Roberts University under first year Head Coach Paul Mills for the 2017-2018 season. The team finished regular season play as the #4 team in the conference (Summit League). Zamora helped with player development, statistics and practice duties. Zamora is expected to graduate with a master’s degree in leadership and business (2021).
No stranger to the game himself, Zamora played his collegiate basketball at Tennessee Temple University and Ohio Christian university where he was awarded a leadership scholarship and graduated with his bachelors degree in business administration and management.

I received a partial athletic scholarship and a leadership scholarship at the above universities. I’m excited to help enlighten up and coming athletes on what to look for.
Sessions will depend on my client. I like to work my client beyond their potential. I focus on areas in which they need to improve. We will work on ball handling drills, exploding to the basket and lots of shooting! Workouts are typically an hour or hour and a half. My schedule will vary each week due to coaching Toledo Glass City but I will let my client know my exact schedule in which we would train ahead of time to not have confusion.

“Freddie was always a hard worker, was great with communication while Playing not only basketball for the university but running cross country as well. He would go from one practice to another and also held a work study position to pay his own way. He was very easy to coach and listened well and would do whatever was asked of him. He knows and executes exactly what hard work is.
Randy Lee/ TTU Head coach (Testimonial)
recruited and coached Mr. Zamora in basketball at Tennessee Temple University. He has a tremendous ability to work as a team member, and even better ability to relate to others.
